  Since 2004 the Fraser Coast BUG has advocated the redevelopment of the old rail corridor from Colton to Urangan Pier as a rail trail. A comprehensive history and project progress has been prepared with photos, maps and specialist commentaries. The document is entitled "Rail Trail Concept and Feasibility Report - 2009" and is available in PDF format.
